R. v. M.
Client was charged with serious gun related charges including possession of a firearm. Through negotiation with the crowns office we were able to demonstrate the client was in the wrong place at the wrong time. All five charges marked as withdrawn and the client retains a clean criminal record.
R. v. S.
The client was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance – Heroin. After reviewing disclosure and intensive meetings with the Crowns office, the charges were withdrawn with counselling.
R. v. A.D.
Client was facing several domestic related assault charges. After reviewing the disclosure and evidence we were able to show the complainant had fabricated the charges. The client received a Peace Bond with no criminal record and without pleading guilty.
R. v. G.
Client was charged with an assault using a weapon and was facing serious jail time if convicted and possible immigration consequences. Ultimately the crown was persuaded to settle on a Discharge. This saved the client from a criminal record and safe guarded the immigration status.
R. v. T.
The client was charged with a sexual assault as a ride share driver. At trial in the Ontario Court of Justice, the client was acquitted of all charges. The court found the complainant was not credible after the cross examination phase.
R. v. L.S (Youth)
Client was charged with bringing a weapon to school and making threats. Charges were withdrawn after the client completed upfront work and counselling.
